Alleghany Health is committed to continuing to support the emergent healthcare needs of our community, while supporting mass vaccination clinics organized by AppHealth. Our combined resources and staff efforts will make a huge difference in the amount of individuals who can be vaccinated in a shorter time frame. We are excited to be able to partner with AppHealthcare to help slow the spread, with immunizations for those individuals who meet the criteria and guidelines for vaccination at this time.
Alleghany Health is Here for You!
During these challenging times, we hope that you have felt supported by the care we have provided to meet your healthcare needs. Alleghany Health has implemented changes to make your visit to the hospital and to the doctor safer, providing masks for any patients and visitors who do not have one, hand sanitizer stations, more frequent disinfection protocols, and reconfigured our waiting rooms to allow for appropriate social distancing.
Given these changes and the current level of COVID virus in our community, we are excited to announce that we are back open to see all patients who desire an in-person visit. We are allowing one visitor per patient in the Inpatient Unit as well as one care partner/visitor in the Emergency Department. Alleghany Health is here to complete your wellness visits, well child exams, follow up visits for your chronic health conditions, and of course, for any urgent injury or illness that should arise.
We look forward to continuing to partner with you for a healthy life! Contact our office at 336-372-3110.

Thank You for Your Support!
On Tuesday, April 21, Alleghany Health invited local law enforcement, emergency crews, fire departments, and other key frontline personnel to form a Circle of Hope around the hospital grounds.
Thank you to Alleghany County Emergency Management, Alleghany EMS, Volunteer Fire Departments from Cherry Lane, Glade Creek, Laurel Springs, Piney Creek, and Sparta/Alleghany, Blue Ridge Electric Membership Corp., Alleghany County Rescue Squad, NC Highway Patrol, Sparta Police and Alleghany County Sheriff’s Department, LabCorp and others that participated!
The intent of this Circle of Hope was to convey a message of caring and support to and from the community, and to and from all first responders, healthcare workers, and Blue Ridge Electric Membership Corporation.
Our hope for this gesture was to show mutual gratitude and solidarity in the face of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Thank you to everyone who participated!
